EASY SOUR DOUGH STARTER 
1/2 packet active dry yeast
2 1/2 cups warm water
1 tbsp. sugar
2 cups all purpose flour

Soften yeast in 1/2 cup of the water. Add remaining water, sugar and flour. Mix well and allow to stand at room temperature, loosely covered, for 3 days, stirring down daily. Temperature should be around 78-80F degrees.

This starter can be increased by adding equal parts of milk and flour.

Use as yeast in your favorite recipe calling for Amish Friendship Starter.
