“CRANBERRY NUT BREAD” IS IN:

CRANBERRY NUT BREAD 
1 cup cranberries, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. butter
3/4 cup orange juice
1 egg, well beaten

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together butter, egg, orange juice and orange peel. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Add to dry mixture.

Spoon batter into a greased and floured 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.

Bake at for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan and allow to cool completely.

Makes 1 loaf.
