FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
Cake:

1 1/4 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs - well beaten
2 cups fruit cocktail - undrained No. 303 or 1 pound size can

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 9 X 12 X 3 inch cake pan. Combine cake ingredients in large mixing bowl. Pour into pan. Sprinkle top with brown sugar and nuts.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until nice and brown.

Frosting:

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup canned milk
1/4 pound butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 can angel flake coconut

Combine the following frosting ingredients; sugar, canned milk, butter and vanilla. Boil 1 minutes stirring constantly. Cool slightly before adding coconut. Spread evenly over warm cake.
