FRUIT COCKTAIL DESSERT CAKE 
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg, beaten
1 can fruit cocktail, drained
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Sift dry ingredients. Add egg, fruit cocktail and vanilla. Pour in pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes.
