STUFFED FLANK STEAK | |
1 flank steak 1 c. cooked oat cereal 1 tbsp. chopped parsley 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. sage 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 c. coarsely broken crackers 4 tbsp. melted cooking fat 2 tbsp. chopped onion 3 slices bacon, uncooked 1 c. hot water Combine all ingredients, except bacon. Spread on steak. Roll stead lengthwise. Skewer. Brown in 2 tablespoons cooking fat. Place in casserole dish. Add water. Lay bacon across top. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Makes 6 servings. |
