CRUNCHY PEA SALAD 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 can sliced water chestnuts
3 or 4 veins of celery, sliced
1 c. shredded carrots
3 or 4 green onions, chopped

MARINADE:

2 tbsp. each salad oil & wine vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. each sugar, paprika, dry mustard
1/2 tsp.salt
1 clove garlic, minced

Combine vegetables. Beat together ingredients in marinade. Pour over vegetables and mix. Chill 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving. Drain. Mix in 4 tablespoons mayonnaise. Add crumbled bacon, if desired.
