DUMPLING BATTER FOR SOUPS | |
3/4 c. flour 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg Sift together flour and salt, cut in butter. Beat with fork just enough to blend the egg and water. Add this to flour mixture and beat with spoon until smooth. Dribble with spoon into gently boiling soup. Simmer for 5 minutes until done. M-m-m good! |
