MY FAVORITE CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 c. sugar
2 or 3 tbsp. cocoa
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 eggs, separated
1 can Carnation milk (tall can)
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 can water

TOPPING:

Whipped cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of powdered sugar

Combine sugar, cocoa and cornstarch in a saucepan. Add egg yolks, milk, butter and 1/2 can water. (Can use Carnation milk can for a container and fill half full.) Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick. Add butter and vanilla. Pour in a baked pie shell (9 inch deep crust). Serve with whipped cream topping.
