ORIENTAL SALAD | |
1 (20 oz.) frozen peas, sm., thawed & drained 1 (8 oz.) can shrimp or crab (imitation crab is great too) 1 c. finely chopped celery 3/4 c. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. curry powder 1 lg. clove garlic, minced 1/2 c. cashews or peanuts 1 (5 1/2 oz.) can chow mein noodles Combine first seven ingredients and toss well. Cover and chill at least 30 minutes. Add nuts and noodles, toss again, just before serving on a bed of lettuce. Serves: 6. |
