STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE 
Filling and Topping:

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. melted butter

Cake:

1 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

Mix cake batter and place 1/2 in greased pan. Spread on 2/3 of filling. Put in rest of batter and top with remaining topping/filling.

Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
