GROUND BEEF & MACARONI CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. macaroni
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
Cheese slices

Lightly brown onions in butter. Add beef and brown; drain fat. Add soup and salt; mix and let simmer on low. Cook macaroni until tender. Drain off water. Mix in casserole dish and top with cheese slices. Bake on 350 degrees until cheese melts.
