REFRIGERATOR PICKLES (Bread &
Butter)
 
3 c. vinegar
3 c. sugar
1/3 c. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. turmeric

#2:
12 cucumbers
5 onions or 1 Spanish onion

Combine ingredients in #1 column in a large mouth one gallon jar. Stir well then add sliced cucumbers and sliced onions to mixture. Every day stir and refrigerate. After one week they are ready to eat. When cucumbers are gone you can add more to the leftover liquid. Makes 1 gallon.
