CRAZY CRUST APPLE PIE 
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. water
1 egg
1 can apple or filling of your choice
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening

Do NOT sift flour. Measure lightly by spooning into a cup. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, water and shortening. Blend at lowest speed 2 minutes and spread batter into a 10" pie plate. Carefully spoon the filling into center of batter. DO NOT STIR. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 425 degrees, or until crust is brown. Delicious!
