THE BEST BEAN DIP EVER!
1 (15 oz.) can refried beans
2-3 tbsp. chili paste
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese (cubed and grated)

Place refried beans in dish, add a few tablespoons of chili paste and add cubed cheese.

Microwave until cheese is melted and stir. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and microwave again for 20 seconds.

This dip is great, never met anyone who didn't like it and it is easy!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

Down in Houston, Texans and Tejanos alike use sriracha chili sauce (found around the ethnic aisle's) taste great on taco's in soups or in any recipes that call for hot sauces alot of chefs use in restaurants also.

I've been making this for years and everyone loves it. Pass on the microwave though. I use Pace Picante Hot Salsa instead of chili paste. Skip the microwave; mix the beans and salsa in a pan and heat on stove-top slowly. When the beans start to bubble, pour in 8 oz. of shredded cheddar and mix it together. If you like a really creamy dip then mix in a tbsp. of sour cream or cream cheese.
