SESAME SEED BRITTLE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. honey
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sesame seeds

Cook sugar, honey, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved.

Continue cooking without stirring until the mixture reaches 300 degrees on a candy thermometer, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the cinnamon and sesame seeds.

Pour the brittle onto a buttered cookie sheet in a thin layer. Loosen before the candy hardens. When cold, break the brittle into pieces. Makes 1 1/2 pounds candy.
