BAKED FRENCH TOAST 
1 bag French bread, sliced in 1 inch slices
6 lg. eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. light cream or half and half
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. soft butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. light corn syrup

Butter a 9 x 13 pan. Arrange bread slices in pan. Combine eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well and pour over bread slices and refrigerate overnight. Next day mix butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Spread evenly over bread. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 40 minutes or until puffy and golden. Serve with syrup
