6 c. fine grated coconut
1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. sugar
Red food coloring
Green toothpicks

Mix coconut, milk, all but 2 tablespoons of gelatin, vanilla, sugar, and food coloring. Shape mixture in the shape of strawberries and roll in the 2 tablespoons gelatin. Trim strawberries with leaves using green frosting.

Put toothpick in center top of strawberry.

FROSTING:

1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1 tsp. milk
Green food coloring

Recipe makes about 75 strawberries. Cookies should be kept cool.
