BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
4 eggs, beaten
3 c. milk
16 slices white bread
2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
2 c. cooked ham, diced

Combine eggs and milk in a large bowl. Mix well. Butter both sides of all bread slices. Dip each in egg mixture. Place one layer of bread in bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish. Cover with 1 cup of cheese, all of the ham, the remaining bread, then the remaining cheese. Pour the remaining egg mixture over the cheese. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serves 12.
