SPINACH LASAGNA | |
1 lb. Ricotta cheese or sm. curd cottage cheese 1 1/2-2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese 1 egg 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained 3/4 tsp. oregano 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 (15 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce or home made 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles 1 c. water 1. In large bowl mix Ricotta cheese, 1 cup of Mozzarella, egg, spinach, salt, oregano and pepper. 2. In a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish layer - sauce, noodles, spinach mixture, Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers ending up with 1/2-1 cup Mozzarella. Pour water around edges. Cover with foil. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees. |
