RARE ROAST BEEF 
Prepare the roast your favorite way - rubbing with spices, Worcestershire sauce, salt, lemon pepper, grated ginger, etc. Place in preheated 500 degree oven and cook 3-5 minutes per pound. Trial and experience must be your guide. Weight, tenderness, and thickness to the center of the cut determines the time per pound. Try 5 minutes for average. After cooking as above, turn off oven. THE OVEN DOOR MUST NOT BE OPENED FOR TWO FULL HOURS. Not even a quick peek. The roast will come out rare and pink from the outside to the center, and full of juices.

This came out really good! I only did two things different, first, the night before I let it marinade in the stuff from above, and added beef broth, garlic powder,and onion powder. And it came out wonderful! Also, when I cooked it in the oven I used the marinate sauce as the water in the bottom of the pan. Will be sharing this recipe with friends, thanks!
