REESES PEANUT BUTTER CUP COOKIES 
3/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Approx. 30 reeses peanut butter cup miniatures

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, cream peanut butter, shortening, sugar and brown sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour and baking soda. Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, blending thoroughly. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls; roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet bake 10 to 12 minutes.

Remove from oven, immediately place unwrapped peanut butter cup on top of each cookie, pressing down so that cookie cracks around edges. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet onto wire rack. Cool completely. Yield approximately 2 1/2 dozen.
