FATHER'S BISCUITS 
2 c. cake flour or 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. double acting baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
5 tbsp. butter
2/3-3/4 c. commercial sour cream

Sift before measuring flour, resift flour with salt, baking powder, sugar and soda. Cut in the butter. Add sour cream. After lightly mixing, turn dough onto a floured surface. Knead lightly for about 1/2 minute. Pat dough to about 1/4 inch thickness, cut with biscuit cutter. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven 10-12 minutes.
