BEAN & BACON SOUP 
2 c. white beans
2 quarts water
1/2 lb. bacon
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 lg. can tomato sauce

Fry bacon and add onions. Put in white beans and water and seasonings. Simmer 2 hours. Add tomato sauce and garnish with parsley. (Beans may be slightly mashed for a thicker consistency.)
