NANA'S PEPPER BISCUITS 
8 c. flour
1 tbsp. salt
3/4 tbsp. coarse ground black pepper
1 tbsp. anise seeds
1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 yeast cake OR pkg. dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
1 1/2 c. warm water

Mix flour, salt, pepper and anise seeds in a large bowl. Make a well in center of flour; add oil, dissolved yeast, and 1 1/2 cups warm water. Mix until well blended; using hands, knead until smooth. If dry add a little water; if sticky add a little flour.
