FLOUR TORTILLAS 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. milk, warmer than lukewarm
2-3 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add shortening and work together until well blended. Add the warm milk and finish mixing to a pliable dough. Knead dough until smooth and elastic.

Divide dough into 10 balls. Roll out with rolling pin until about 8-inches in diameter. Bake on a greased griddle over medium heat. Turn only once and brown evenly on both sides.
