FLOUR TORTILLAS 
3 c. all purpose flour, unsifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. bacon drippings
About 1 c. warm water

Stir together flour and baking powder. Gradually stir in enough water and the drippings to form soft dough. Work dough with hands until it holds together. Turn onto floured board and knead until smooth and dough stays together. Divide into 12 pieces and shape into balls, cover with dish towel or sealed bowl for 14 minutes.

Take 1 ball and roll out into approximately 10" round, peel off board and stretch a little. Lay onto very hot griddle, just until dough starts to bubble, turn over and do same. Cover in dish towel until done, store in sealed bag. Can be frozen.
