PEA SALAD 
1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, uncooked
1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1 bunch green onions, sliced (use tops too)
1/4 c. diced celery
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1 (7 oz.) pkg. cashew nuts (optional)

Combine first 8 ingredients in the order listed. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate 4 or more hours. Add cashews just before serving if you like. Yields 8 to 10 servings.
