CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE 
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
3 (1 oz.) squares semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs, lightly beaten

Place pecans in prepared pastry shell; set aside.

Combine chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan; cook over low heat until chocolate melts, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and add corn syrup and remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour mixture over pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
