CHOCOLATE BOURBON PECAN PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
3 eggs
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. butter (melted)
1/4 c. bourbon
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

In a large bowl with mixer at low speed, stir together sugar and corn starch. Beat in eggs until well blended. With wooden spoon, stir in pecans and chocolate pieces.

Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 350 degree oven 50-60 minutes or until set around the edges. Cool on wire rack. Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
