PRETZEL SALAD 
2 c. crushed pretzels
3/4 c. melted butter
3 tbsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 container Cool Whip
1 c. powdered sugar
1 lg. box strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
1 lg. & 1 sm. box frozen strawberries

Mix pretzels, butter and sugar together. Pat into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake 7 minutes at 350 degrees. Set aside to cool.

Mix cream cheese, Cool Whip and powdered sugar in a bowl until creamy and smooth. Add this to cooled baked shell. Mix Jello with boiling water. Add strawberries and let stand in refrigerator until jelled. Spread over Cool Whip mixture. Sprinkle with nuts or crushed pretzels. Refrigerate.
