1 can crushed pineapple
1 can black cherries, pitted
2 boxes cherry Jello (3 oz. size)
6 oz. cola drink
Up to 1 c. chopped pecans, optional, but good

Drain pineapple and cherries. Dissolve Jello in the heated juice. Add 6 ounces of cola drink. Chill. When the mix starts to thicken, stir in the fruit and pecans. Mold as desired.

Variation: Stir in 1/2 cup to 1 cup of finely chopped celery or cucumber to make the salad "go farther" and taste less sweet.
