CHRISTMAS CONSERVE 
2 oranges
4 c. cranberries
3 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nutmeats

Grate the rind of the oranges and remove the white membrane from the pulp. Cut the pulp in small pieces. Add 2 cups water to the peel and pulp and cook for 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except the nutmeats and boil over high heat to the jelly stage. Add the nutmeats and boil for 5 minutes longer. Pour into hot jars and seal.
