POTATO CHOWDER 
1/2 lb. bacon
1 c. diced onions
6 med. potatoes, peeled, cut in cubes
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. sour cream
1 pkg. frozen corn or 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
Pepper and salt to taste

Cook bacon until crisp, drain break in pieces set aside, leave a little bacon fat in pan and saute, onions until clear. Put cut up potatoes in pot, covered with water. Cook until tender, DO NOT DRAIN. Add bacon, onions, salt and pepper, sour cream and milk. Heat until boiling point. Add the corn and simmer until corn is tender (if frozen).
