CANNED TACO SAUCE | |
1 large onion, chopped 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 5 green chiles (banana type), chopped 2-3 jalapeno peppers, chopped 1 red-ripe tomato, diced 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. garlic powder 8 oz. bottled water Mix together all ingredients well. Bring to a boil and pack while still hot into clean pint jars leaving 1/2 inch head space. Wipe rim clean. Seal and process in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Makes approximately 3 pints. |
