2 lbs. sugar
2 lbs. butter
Vanilla and almond flavor
1/8 oz. Calumet baking powder
1 qt. egg whites
2 lbs. 4 oz. flour

Rub butter and sugar, add egg whites gradually with the flavor added, as lightly as possible; then mix in the flour and mix until very light and uniform. Bake in medium heat.
