HAMBURGER VEGETABLE SOUP | |
1 lb. hamburger Onion, amount to your taste Salt and pepper to taste 2 (1 lb.) cans stewed tomatoes 1 tbsp. butter; optional 2 cans Veg-All with juice Rice, 1/2 c. or more 1 can tomato soup, not diluted 2 beef bouillon cubes Put hamburger in pot, cover with water; add onion, salt, and pepper. Cook slowly until meat loses color; break up hamburger with spoon. Add two cans of stewed tomatoes. Cook over low heat, covered. (It's done when tomatoes break apart with spoon.) Add Veg-All and juice. After few minutes, add rice. Turn heat off; let stand 5 minutes. Stir to see how much liquid. Add one can tomato soup and add water IF NEEDED for more liquid. Mix well. Add bouillon cube. Stir to dissolve. Add butter. |
