BROCCOLI SOUP 
1 lb. broccoli (fresh or frozen)
1 tbsp. instant minced onion flakes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. sweet basil (optional)
1 1/3 c. water
1 chicken flavor bouillon cube
1 (13 oz.) can Milnot

Fresh broccoli should be washed, trimmed, and broken into small pieces.

Place broccoli in medium saucepan; add next 7 ingredients. Cover and bring to boil; simmer until tender (approximately 15 minutes). Remove some flowerettes and set aside for garnish. Puree or blend remaining broccoli; return to heat and stir in Milnot. Heat to serving temperature. Yield: Approximately 4 cups.

Variations: Asparagus, mushrooms, or zucchini can be substituted for broccoli.
