MRS. F.'S OATMEAL, CHOCOLATE
CHIP, PECAN COOKIES
 
2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
5 c. oats
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
24 oz. bag chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar, grated
3 c. chopped pecans

Cream together first 3 ingredients. Add next 2 in separate bowl; mix the next 5 ingredients, then mix together with first mixture. Add last 3 ingredients. Mold into gold ball shaped balls. Bake 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet for 7 minutes. Makes 112 cookies. (If you're like us, make the cookies twice the size and that way you will eat fewer!)

The cookies were fantastic!! However, it would have been helpful to have the temperature at which to set the oven.. I used the old standby of 350°F.. And then had to up the minutes to 9 or 10.. The cookies are so worth the effort!!!
