BEEF IN WINE SAUCE 
1 lb. beef sirloin, cubed
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
10 3/4 oz. can beef gravy
3 oz. can broiled sliced mushrooms, undrained
1/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/4 c. of your favoring wine (optional)
2 tbsp. olive oil

Trim excess fat from meat. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in skillet. Coat meat in mixture of 2 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash pepper. Brown in skillet; push meat to side of pan. Add onion and garlic; cook 3 minutes. Add gravy, mushrooms with liquid and basil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender. Add wine and serve hot over rice. Makes 4 servings.
