BEEF IN WINE SAUCE 
1 lb. beef sirloin (cut in cubes)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
10 3/4 oz. can beef gravy
3 oz. can sliced mushrooms with liquid
1/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/4 c. of your favorite wine (optional)

Trim excess fat from meat. Use one to two tablespoons olive oil and heat in skillet. Coat meat in 2 tablespoons flour. Brown in skillet; push meat to side of pan and add onion and garlic; cook 3 minutes. Add gravy, mushrooms with liquid and basil. Cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes or until tender. OPTIONAL: Add wine just before serving and stir. Serve hot over rice. Serves 4.
