BEEF WITH WINE AND MUSHROOM
SAUCE
 
Sirloin tip roast or equivalent
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
1 can Golden mushroom soup
2 c. dry red wine
1 can water
Baby carrots
Small white onions
Sliced mushrooms

In a large Dutch oven with cover place meat and cover with wine. Add onion soup mix and Golden mushroom soup. Next add water. Cover and cook in oven at 350 for 2 hours. Add carrots and onions. Cook another 1/2 hour. Add mushrooms. Cook another 1/2 hour. Serve over wide noodles. Bowlangerie bread is excellent with it! Serves 6 to 8 people.
