2 c. butter
2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. oatmeal (blend in blender to a fine powder)
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
18 oz. Hershey bar, grated
24 oz. chocolate chips
3 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; blend well. Mix together flour, oatmeal, salt, soda and baking powder. Mix into cream mix. Stir in chocolates and nuts. Roll tablespoon size portions into balls placed 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 (9+ dozen). (Recipe can be halved.)
