NINNIE'S BUTTER ROLL
1 ball biscuit dough
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. hot milk
1 c. coconut (optional)
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. cocoa (optional)

Put wood in stove to reach 400 degrees. Take a small ball of biscuit dough, roll out on a well floured board to about 8 x 12 inches, take a good size chunk of butter, use about 1/2, scattering pea size chunks all over the dough. Take 2 handfuls of sugar scatter over that. You may sprinkle cocoa or coconut on top, roll dough from the 12 inch side, pinch together, shape roll into deep baking dish. Scatter 2 more handfuls of sugar over top of roll and dot some butter over that. Heat 3/4 cup sweet milk, add 1 teaspoon vanilla and pour over top. Cook until brown, 35-40 minutes.
