GERMAN BUTTER ROLLS 
1 1/2 c. white flour
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. sugar
2 pkgs. yeast (dry or fresh)
3 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. butter, melted
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Scald milk and cool, add 1 tablespoon sugar and yeast and dissolve. Add eggs, flour, butter and vanilla. Mix until it forms a ball. Set in refrigerator for 45 minutes - dough should be damp.

Mix 3/4 cup sugar and nuts. Break off small pieces of dough and roll in sugar, nut mixture. Twist a couple times and put on greased cookie sheet. Allow room for them to rise. Put in warm place for 15 minutes to let them rise. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
