OLD FASHIONED GINGERBREAD 
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. molasses
2 c. flour, plain
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sour milk
Nuts or raisins, optional

Mix all ingredients together, put in 9 x 11 inch baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Test for doneness with toothpick. Serve warm with powdered sugar or whipped cream.
