HOT DISH 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. med. noodles, cooked
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. stuffed olives, sliced
3/4 lb. American cheese, diced
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup mixed with 1/2 c. milk

Saute onions in butter until lightly browned. Add meat and brown. Pour off grease. Add noodles, mushrooms, olives, cheese and seasoning. Mix well but gently. Pour into 2 quart casserole and top with mixture of soup and milk. Bake 40 minutes at 375 degrees.

OPTION: For the last 15 minutes of baking, top hot dish with mixture of 1/2 cup cashews and 1 cup chow mein noodles.
