MEXICAN HOT DISH 
2 lbs. hamburger
Chopped onion to taste
2 pkg. taco seasoning mix
2 c. water
1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
12-16 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz.) bag taco chips, crushed

Brown hamburger and onions, drain. Add the seasoning mix, water and tomato paste. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Put meat mixture in a 9x13 inch pan, cover with cheese, then top with taco chips. Can reserve some Cheddar cheese to sprinkle on top of chips, if you wish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
