WHOLE WHEAT BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas (3)
1 1/4 c. buttermilk or yogurt
1 c. pecans

Cream butter and sugar, add egg. Sift dry ingredients. Combine bananas and buttermilk or yogurt and stir just until mixed. Add dry ingredients alternately with banana mixture to butter mixture. Add nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool 10 minutes in pan before removing.
