BOJANGLE'S STYLE BISCUITS 
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. shortening
1 level tbsp. powdered sugar
1 level tbsp. baking powder

Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder. Cut in shortening; mix until crumbly. Stir in buttermilk; mix well with fork. Turn dough onto floured board and knead until no longer sticky. Roll, cut out biscuits, and bake until brown at 425 degrees, about 10-15 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter before serving. 8 to 10 biscuits.
