MIL'S WALNUT BOURBON BALLS 
2 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers (from 12 oz. box)
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa, unsweetened
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
1 c. coconut, if desired
3 tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 c. bourbon

Mix first 4 ingredients well. Add corn syrup and bourbon. Mix well and roll into 1 inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Will keep months in a cool place. Flavor improves with age.
